Conference Location and Travel
The 2003 Joint Conference on Digital Libraries is being held in Houston, Texas at Rice University. Sessions will take place at Alice Pratt Brown Hall, home of Rice's music school.

A shuttle will run between the conference location (Alice Pratt Brown Hall at Rice University) and the conference hotels according to the following schedule May 27-31:
- Morning: 07:30-10:00
- Lunch: 12:00-14:00
- Evening: 17:00-18:30
- Banquet Shuttle from Alice Pratt Brown Hall and Hotels to Museum of Natural Science on Thursday, May 29: 18:15-23:00
Alice Pratt Brown Hall is located about a mile from the conference hotels.

- Ground transportation from the airports
Rice University is located about a mile from the Rice Village, which is home to nearly 40 restaurants.
